Eighth Database Release (December, 2010):
- Information on 132 new genes and 292 new mutants included in the database.
- Links to archival information on embryo mutants from the Meinke
laboratory.
- Links to additional project publications and meeting abstracts.
- Link to Supplemental Gene Dataset for future additions to the database.
- Link to Supplemental Alias Symbols obtained from recent publications.
- Notification of future links to additional datasets of genes with mutant

Access to SeedGenes no longer requires registration and log-in.

Database upgraded from Oracle to MySQL to facilitate future development.
Sixth Database Release (September, 2004):

- A tutorial with detailed instructions on analysis of embryo-defective mutants.
- Mutants and gene identities contributed by INRA/Genoplante collaborators.
- Improved visualization of flanking sequence details for insertion mutants.
- Updated gene information based on TIGR 5.0 and TAIR (November, 2004).
- Additional classification system based on the confidence of gene identity.
- Ability to query the database with lists of genes and find those included.
- Automated BLAST results based on updated GenBank and TIGR information.
