Myouga / Shinozaki / RIKEN Collaboration

The SeedGenes database includes 38 mutants obtained through a collaborative project with Kazuo Shinozaki at RIKEN that involved knockouts of genes predicted to encode chloroplast-localized proteins. Many of these lines were first identified by Fumiyoshi Myouga through reverse genetic analysis at RIKEN and later characterized in detail in the Meinke laboratory.

Twenty-one different genes are represented. Gene symbols begin with: "EMB 31xx"

Additional information on these genes and mutants can be found in the following publication:

INRA / CNRS / Genoplante Contributions

The SeedGenes database includes 14 mutants obtained through forward genetic screens of the Versailles collection of T-DNA insertion lines in France and later characterized in the Meinke laboratory.

Eleven different genes are represented. Gene symbols begin with "EMB 30xx".

Seed stocks, flanking sequences, and general phenotypic information for these lines were contributed by Martine Devic (CNRS, University of Perpignan), Loic Lepiniec (INRA, Versailles), and Frederic Berger (Lyon, France; Current: National University of Singapore).

Support for the isolation and initial characterization of these insertion lines was provided by INRA (www.versailles-grignon.inra.fr) and Genoplante.

Additional information on the Versailles collection of T-DNA insertion lines can be obtained from the following publication:
